Cream 1 ¼ c. sugar and 1 c. butter flavored crisco.
Add 2 eggs . ¼ c. light Karo syrup, 3 c. flour, ¾ t. baking powder, ½ t. baking soda,and ½ t. Salt
Chill dough if you have time, then roll out on floured counter.
Cut into shapes and bake at 375* for 5-9 minutes. Do not overbake.
Take out of oven when edges are just beginning to brown. Then leave on cookie sheet for a few minutes.
Frost with canned cream cheese frosting (cake frosting like Pillsbury)
