½ c. butter
½ c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
Combine these ingredients until crumbly. Pat into 9x13 pan.
Bake 10 minutes, Cool.
When crust is cool, spread 1 c chopped pecans over crust, then top with 1 c. chocolate chips.
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
½ t. salt
1 t. baking powder
Beat eggs with brown sugar until thick. Add vanilla.
Put salt and baking powder in ¼ c. measure. Fill the rest with flour.
Stir into egg mixture. Pour over crust.
Bake at 350* for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
